Why Make the Switch to Meyer Plows?
Here are the Top 13 Reasons to Switch from Fisher, Boss or Western Plows

1. Warranty - America's Best 5-Year
When you build the best snow and ice control equipment, it's easy to back them with the best warranty in America. That's why all Meyer plows have the longest warranty in the industry, up to 5-years of complete coverage*. Go ahead, check us out against the competition, and see for yourself.

2. Hands Free Plowing
With Meyer's exclusive Hands-Free Plowing (HFP) operating a snowplow is safer and more convenient. Hands-Free Plowing automatically raises and lowers the moldboard when you shift into drive or reverse so you can keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. This exclusive feature is available with Meyer's EZ-Mount Plus system only.

3. Operating Harness - One Plug
Meyer plows feature a patented one-piece plug, where others have up to three connections.
Unlike competitors that have up to three plugs, Meyer's one-piece plug makes it easier and faster to mount/dismount the plow in bad weather. This exclusve feature is available with Meyer's EZ-Mount Plus system only.

4. System Diagnosis
All Meyer EZ1 controllers include plow system diagnostics to tell you what is wrong with a plow not working correctly because of hydraulic or electrical problems. Meyer makes it easy to trouble-shoot issues as they arise. Just look at the back of the controller and match the blinking controller light pattern with the explanation of what is causing the problem. This exclusve feature is available with Meyer's EZ-Mount Plus system only.

5. Dura-Slick Paint with Teflon
All Meyer carbon steel moldboards are painted with Meyer Dura-Slick™ Paint. This automotive-style paint with Teflon® is baked on to the steel for durability and better snow-rolling action. It's the reason why Meyer plows throw snow farther and move it faster than the competition.

6. Field Adjustable Trip Springs
While out plowing, contractors often need to make adjustments to their plow, and they don't want to go back to the shop to do it. That is why Meyer makes their plows with field adjustable trip springs. This allows more time to plow and less time back at the shop.

7. Continuously Welded Ribs
Meyer plows are continuously welded on the outside ribs. This Meyer exclusive not only gives our plows a more rugged look, but more importantly, it increases their strength and performance so they can handle anything Mother Nature sends their way.

8. Ground Tracking Technology
Ground Tracking Technology (GTT) enables the plow to pivot up to 12-degrees in either direction, allowing it to automatically follow the contour of the road. GTT levels the moldboard automatically when it’s raised and moved right or left, so the plow remains level during transport. It also allows the plow to mount more easily on uneven surfaces because the mount stays level even if the moldboard is not. GTT is optional on Lot Pro and Diamond Edge with the EZ-Mount Plus system only.

9. Height - 32″
Meyer straight blade commercial plows are consistently taller than competitive brands, making it easier to move more snow in less time. A taller moldboard paired with a 75-degree attack angle makes getting the job done faster and easier since you will push more snow and get better scraping performance. This results in less clean-up time.

10. Attack Angle - 75°
Meyer straight blade commercial plows feature the industry's most aggressive attack angles. Having an aggressive attack angle optimizes the blade performance by providing a cleaner scrape on each pass, this makes getting that "black and wet" finish much easier to obtain.

11. Interchangeable Moldboards/Controllers
Plowing contractors often look for fleet-friendly plows and mounts. This makes it easy to move a plow from one vehicle to another. That's why all newer Meyer straight blade and V-plows with the EZ-Mount Plus system have interchangeable mounts and controllers. This gives contractors the flexibility they need.

12. Industry-Leading Ground Clearance
Meyer's new Standard Operating System, available on 7.5' - 9' Lot Pro plows, offers up to 9" of ground clearance for improved stacking and transport height. You'll carry your plow high and be less prone to bottoming out.

13. Slot and Tab Construction
Meyer couldn't offer the industry's best warranty on our plows if we didn't build them using slot and tab construction. This method of construction makes for a stronger, more precise fitting plow. Laser cut steel components are assembled using robotic welders that never tire and never make a mistake. It's why every plow comes off the line ready to provide years of trouble-free service.
